Review Policy
JMSI: Journal of Management Strategies and Innovation applies a double-blind peer review process. In this system, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an objective, fair, and unbiased evaluation.
Peer Review Stages
- Initial Submission Authors submit their manuscripts through the online journal system.
- Editorial Screening The editorial team checks the manuscript for scope, format, originality, and compliance with journal guidelines.
- Plagiarism Check Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.
- Reviewer Assignment Suitable manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers.
- Double-Blind Review Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, significance, and clarity of the manuscript.
- Editorial Decision Based on reviewer recommendations, the editor may decide: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
- Author Revision Authors revise the manuscript and submit a response to reviewers.
- Final Decision The editor makes the final publication decision.
- Copyediting and Publication Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout, proofreading, and online publication.
Review Criteria
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the journal's focus and scope.
- Originality and novelty of the study.
- Soundness of the research methodology.
- Clarity of presentation and organization.
- Validity of results and conclusions.
- Contribution to theory and practice.
- Quality and adequacy of references.
Review Timeline
The review process generally takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the extent of revisions required.
Confidentiality
All submitted manuscripts and review reports are treated as confidential documents and are not disclosed to anyone other than those directly involved in the editorial process.
