Publication Ethics Statement
JMSI: Journal of Management Strategies and Innovation is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This statement is based on the principles and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Duties of Authors
- Authors must submit original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
- Authors must ensure that all data presented are accurate and honestly reported.
- Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.
- Authors should cite all publications that have influenced their work.
- Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
- All listed authors must have significantly contributed to the research.
- If a significant error is discovered, authors must promptly notify the editor and cooperate to retract or correct the article.
Duties of Editors
- Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published.
- Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit without discrimination.
- Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the relevant parties.
- Unpublished materials disclosed in a submission must not be used in an editor's own research without the author's written consent.
Duties of Reviewers
- Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and help authors improve their manuscripts.
- Reviewers should maintain confidentiality regarding all reviewed manuscripts.
- Reviews should be conducted objectively and supported by clear arguments.
- Reviewers should identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.
- Reviewers should disclose any conflicts of interest and decline to review when necessary.
Research Misconduct
Research misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, citation manipulation, and plagiarism. If misconduct is suspected, the editorial board will investigate according to COPE guidelines and may reject, retract, or correct the article.
Plagiarism Screening
All manuscripts submitted to JMSI are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with substantial similarity to other works may be rejected before peer review.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research or its interpretation.
Corrections and Retractions
When errors or ethical issues are identified, the journal will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate.
