Policy Statement
JMSI: Journal of Management Strategies and Innovation is committed to publishing original scholarly works and maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism before entering the peer-review process.
Plagiarism Screening
Manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools.
Similarity Threshold

| 0% – 20% | Acceptable, subject to editorial evaluation. |
| 21% – 30% | Returned to authors for revision and clarification. |
| Above 30% | Rejected due to excessive similarity. |
Types of Plagiarism
- Direct plagiarism.
- Self-plagiarism or redundant publication.
- Mosaic plagiarism.
- Improper citation or attribution.
- Data and figure plagiarism.
Editorial Actions
If plagiarism is detected at any stage, the editorial board may take one or more of the following actions:
- Request manuscript revision.
- Reject the manuscript.
- Retract a published article.
- Notify the authors' institution if necessary.
Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and appropriately cite all sources.
Self-Plagiarism
Reuse of substantial portions of previously published work by the same author without proper citation is not acceptable.
JMSI only considers manuscripts that demonstrate academic honesty, originality, and proper citation practices.
